Dear members, friends, and visitors of our United Church of Cannabis,
I bid you a warm welcome on this beautiful Sunday morning. As we gather under the roof of this sacred place, let’s take a moment to appreciate our unity, our diversity, and the plant that has brought us together – cannabis.
In the sacred texts, it is written, “God said, ‘Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food.'” Today, we celebrate one such plant, a plant that has served humanity in myriad ways – as medicine, as a source of inspiration, as a tool for relaxation, and as a pathway to spiritual enlightenment.
Cannabis, in its sacred essence, has the power to unite us, to stimulate our shared understanding, and to promote peace within our hearts and minds. As we partake in this gift from nature, let us remember to do so with respect and gratitude. It is not merely a plant, but a sacrament – a means of experiencing the divine within us and around us.
Here in our church, we celebrate diversity, inclusivity, and acceptance. We welcome every soul, no matter their race, religion, or creed. Within these walls, we are not defined by our differences, but by our shared values – love, compassion, understanding, and the pursuit of inner peace.
As we gather today, let us share our stories, our experiences, and our insights gained through our interactions with cannabis. Let us listen to the testimonies of healing, of divine revelation, of friendships forged, and of laughter shared. In these stories, we see the universal human experience, reflected through the prism of cannabis.
As we engage with cannabis, let us remember that it is a tool for spiritual growth, a teacher that guides us towards mindfulness, presence, and acceptance. It enables us to let go of our worries, to live in the moment, and to recognize our interconnectedness with all of creation.
As we conclude our sermon today, I encourage each one of you to carry the harmony and the peace experienced here, into the world outside. Be the ambassadors of love, tolerance, and acceptance. Remember, the sacredness of cannabis is but one expression of the divine love that pervades the universe.
May you go forth with joy in your hearts, peace in your minds, and a renewed sense of unity and purpose. Until we meet again, may the divine light of love and understanding guide your path.
Amen, and pass the peace pipe.
